We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced migration lawyer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Australian migration law and be passionate about helping clients build new lives in Australia.
Main duties will include:
- Providing immigration legal advice and assistance appropriate for client needs
- Drafting legal submissions for applications and appeals
- Ensuring files are managed appropriately
- Appearing in courts and tribunals
- Ensuring timely and positive contact with clients
- Council and assisting junior team members.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Migration Lawyer
- A valid Queensland Practising Certificate
- Unwavering commitment to providing exceptional client service
- History of maintaining and forming strong working relationships with clients and team members
- Excellent time management and personal organisation skills with deadline focus
- Ability to maintain a high quality of work at all times
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak a second language would be useful but not essential
- Flexible work arrangements based on performance, along with opportunities for professional development and ongoing legal education
