Job Summary

Inspectors are responsible for inspecting, testing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps and backflows with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct regular inspections of fire suppression systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  2. Test and maintain fire pumps and backflow preventers to guarantee system performance.
  3. Perform routine maintenance tasks on fire protection equipment to prolong its lifespan.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience working as an inspector or in a related role.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Possession of any necessary licenses and certifications.
