Senior Fire Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Systems Specialist to join our Building Services team.

This key role involves designing and implementing fire service systems for transport, buildings, and Defence infrastructure projects across Australia, with a focus on NSW.

You will be responsible for leading technical teams in the development of innovative solutions to complex problems encountered in fire protection engineering.

About the Role:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Diploma of Fire Systems Design (CPC50520)
  • Wet and Dry fire accreditation in NSW (e.g. FSD / FPAS accreditation, or C14 / C8 registered certifier)
  • Design and document a range of wet and dry fire services systems
  • Preparation of fire protection systems specifications
  • Read and interpret Fire Engineering Briefs / Reports
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant standards and NCC across Defence and infrastructure is advantageous
  • Knowledge of engineering design processes for infrastructure projects
  • Working knowledge of Revit MEP is desirable
  • On the career pathway to registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer
