About the Opportunity

Join our Combat Systems Integration Integrated Product Team (CSI-IPT) Program Delivery team as an experienced Risk & Opportunity Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the CSI-IPT Risk & Opportunity Management Plan across the entire program.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Execute and maintain the CSI-IPT Risk & Opportunity Management Plan
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify causal risks and opportunities, assess potential impacts, develop treatment strategies, and agree on action plans
- Track and manage actions to ensure agreed treatments are implemented effectively to minimize impacts
- Provide expert advice to the CSI-IPT on critical risk areas, and assist in developing corrective actions and decision-making frameworks
- Demonstrate leadership in the area of risk management and issue resolution through adherence to CSI-IPT risk policies and frameworks
- Interface with external industry partners to ensure consistency and alignment of processes, tools, and practices with industry best practices.

**Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or significant risk/project experience
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management within a Defence environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with colleagues to implement project/business requirements
  • Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated partnership abilities to mentor and assist project/business requirements
