Job Title: Combat Systems Delivery Lead

The role of a Combat Systems Delivery Lead is critical in the development and integration of major defence systems.

This position requires an individual with expertise in directing and influencing specialist teams, as well as knowledge of complex system-of-systems equipment in the naval environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining integration and evaluation planning, building and managing functional integration teams, and supporting the head of combat system and integration in planning and management of schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity baseline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining integration and evaluation planning for the HCF Combat System, aligned with WoS integration and test and RVCA (requirements verification and acceptance) planning.
  • Building and managing a Functional Integration team to deliver planned Combat System integration and evaluation activities in the LBTS and Ship(s), as well as undertaking earlier integration at OEM facilities.
  • Supporting the Head of Combat System and Integration in planning and management of schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity baseline, and management of the Functional Integration team.
  • Supporting the LBTS Delivery team in designing and implementing the HCF LBTS to ensure it aligns with planned and emergent Combat System integration and evaluation needs.
