The Role

As a workshop supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our warehouse team and ensuring that our e-scooters are properly maintained and repaired.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will focus on productivity and inventory accuracy levels.

Reporting to the operations associate, you will also ensure that our warehouse is operating efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established procedures.

This role offers opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to the growth of our organization by participating in new launch initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement warehouse management strategies.
  • Service and repair e-scooters.
  • Oversee quality control and basic maintenance performed by the warehouse team.
  • Ensure adherence to operations standard operating procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as shift scheduling and manpower deployment.
  • Conduct monthly or as-required stocktakes.
  • Train new warehouse technicians and provide refresher training as needed.
  • Manage workshop KPIs.
  • Represent the organization as a positive brand ambassador.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations would be advantageous, particularly in the mobility or supply-chain space.
  • Prior mechanical experience with e-scooters and comfort with lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy objects is required.
  • A suitable personal smartphone is necessary.
  • Prior experience in stock planning and management is desirable.
  • A hands-on leadership approach and ability to work alongside warehouse technicians is essential.
  • Experience defining best practice warehouse procedures is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex operational environments.
  • Flexible work schedule with occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
