Aboriginal Immunisation Nursing Role
This is an opportunity to contribute to stronger, healthier futures for Aboriginal children and families across the Central Coast. As part of a dedicated public health team, you will work on improving access to immunisation services and vaccination rates.
About This Opportunity
- A registered nurse or midwife with current AHPRA registration and NSW accreditation as an authorised nurse/midwife immuniser, or working towards accreditation.
- Knowledge of best practice immunisation principles and guidelines, with an understanding of Aboriginal health needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal families and multidisciplinary teams.
- A commitment to working within professional and ethical boundaries in a team-based healthcare environment.
- A current NSW driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver education and vaccinations that protect the community and reduce the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases.
- To work across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
