The Senior Learning Leader is responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of innovative educational programs, with a particular focus on Two-Way Learning. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to lead a team of staff in planning, development, and delivery of programs that align with Northern Territory Curriculum policies and school-based curriculum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that prioritize student outcomes and meet the needs of diverse learners.\
  • Lead a team of staff in planning, development, and delivery of programs that foster collaboration and communication among students, teachers, and parents.\
  • Ensure that all programs are aligned with Northern Territory Curriculum policies, school-based curriculum, and school policy.\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to demonstrate program effectiveness and impact.\
  • Provide professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in teaching and learning.\
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of innovation and excellence in education.\
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in educational research and pedagogy to inform program design and implementation.\
  • Participate in regular evaluations and assessments to ensure program quality and continuous improvement.\
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to build relationships and trust.\
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize program effectiveness and efficiency.\
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures to support program implementation.\
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school-wide goals and objectives.\
  • Be accountable for program outcomes and contribute to the growth and development of the school community.\
