Airport Infrastructure Estimator

At Turner & Townsend, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Infrastructure team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and expenditure profiles for projects and work packages. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the growth of our specialist service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditure profiles for projects and work packages.
- Conduct feasibility studies and multi-tier cost reports.
- Undertake key tendering and procurement activities, including establishing pre-qualification stage requirements and preparing pre-tender estimates.
- Deep analysis and assessment of cost estimates and forecasts provided by contractors and the supply chain.
- Apply estimating and cost planning activities, including producing and presenting a final cost plan.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the industry, preferably in the Airport/Aviation and Infrastructure sectors.
- A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is desired.
- MRICS / AIQS accreditation is ideal.
- Proficient in the use of CostX, Unifer, Ecosys, Candy or other equivalent tools.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities.
