Dynamic General Medicine Specialist Opportunity

This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled General Medicine Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care and services.
The role involves delivering comprehensive Specialist General Medicine services within a Hospital in the Home (HITH) service, as well as medical oversight for HITH services across the district and Urgent Care Service.
You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, participating in quality improvement activities, and training and educating clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Physician
- Demonstrated current clinical practice relevant to the Hospital in the Home Service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills

LocationLismore Base Hospital is a regional referral hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW. The hospital is located in the picturesque town of Lismore, surrounded by beautiful countryside and scenic coastal areas.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
