At Tronox, we are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Pigment Plant in Australind.

This is a full-time, permanent role working a 9-day fortnight, giving every 2nd Friday off.

The successful candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts in industrial settings and will be responsible for safely transporting raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks, storage areas, and production lines using the forklift in a precise and efficient manner.
  • Following established safety protocols and procedures while handling hazardous materials or chemicals.
  • Conducting routine inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas, including storage areas and loading docks.
  • Assisting with inventory management by accurately recording movement of materials and products through SAP.
  • Collaborating with production teams, warehouse personnel, and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics and operations.
  • Coordinating transport trucks alongside the dispatch team.

The ideal candidate will have a nationally recognized forklift license, knowledge of safety regulations, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
