We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Tronox in Australind.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks, storage areas, and production lines using the forklift in a precise and efficient manner.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures while handling hazardous materials or chemicals.
  • Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including storage areas and loading docks.
  • Assist with inventory management by accurately recording movement of materials and products through SAP
  • Collaborate with production teams, warehouse personnel, and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics and operations.
Requirements:
  • A nationally recognized forklift license with significant previous experience.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to forklift operations, especially in handling hazardous materials.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Background in a fixed plant environment is ideal.
  • Prior experience with SAP or similar systems is beneficial.
