This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals accessing our service. Your duties will include:
- Providing specialist mental health services, including short to medium-term episodes of care
- Prescribing medications in accordance with consumer care plans and within your scope of practice
- Provision of brief evidence-based psychological interventions and therapeutic management for individuals and groups
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Registration as a Nurse Practitioner (endorsed Mental Health) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Mastery of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
- Current Prescriber Number and Credentialed status with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
- Demonstrated clinical competence as per the national competency standards for Nurse Practitioners
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of crisis care
