Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to interpret regulatory requirements, ensure compliance with reporting obligations and champion one of our focus areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and provide guidance on appropriate treatments and judgments.
  • Maintain ongoing regulatory reporting governance through targeted assurance deep dives.
  • Assist in the implementation of regulatory reporting changes and internal initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and regulatory reporting teams to document and present recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead one of our team's focus areas, such as regulatory developments, strategic initiatives or stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in business or commerce and relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA) with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in financial services or investment banking.
  • Experience in financial or APRA reporting, APS310 audit or financial services audit is highly regarded.
  • Technical regulatory reporting and/or technical accounting advisory experience with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical matters with simplicity.
