The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience working on complex systems and equipment. A degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, working closely with engineers and other technicians
  • Operate and maintain the Maintenance Management System (MMS), ensuring accurate records of maintenance activities and parts consumption
  • Conduct sea testing of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) in various environments
Required Qualifications and Attributes
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-tool skills
  • Vocational training in mechanical trades or associate degree ideal
  • Maritime trade background desirable, as well as subsea experience or autonomous vehicle operation
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation, including mechanical drawings and work instructions
  • Experience performing component, subsystem, and system-level tests, with ability to diagnose and escalate issues
  • Exposure to operation of MMS and proficiency in data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
