Are you looking for a role that allows you to make a positive impact in your community? Our Red Cross Shop is calling out for vibrant individuals who want to contribute to their community, put their life skills into action or even gain some new valuable skills and experiences.

As a volunteer with us, you will be part of a team that provides a carefully curated selection of high quality new and pre-loved items including seasonal clothing, shoes, accessories, and homewares. We know our customers love a treasure hunt, so we ensure our shops are always full of variety, fun pieces, and vibrant displays.

By volunteering in our shop, you will be contributing to rescuing pre-loved clothing from landfills and helping us raise vital funds to support vulnerable people across Australia.

In a typical day, you will be doing a variety of tasks like welcoming and engaging customers, processing transactions through point of sale, sorting and pricing donations, creating vibrant displays, keeping the shop clean and tidy, and following all shop processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need a friendly and positive attitude, sociable and engaging with others, happy to work as part of a team, flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks, and commitment to your nominated shift.

You must be at least 16 years of age ( QLD) and complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program.
