About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Minara Resources. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our personnel on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial and ongoing treatment of injuries and illnesses of personnel on site, including assisting with injury management and rehabilitation.
  • Operate the site's ambulances, including the management and transportation of injured personnel.
  • Develop and maintain treatment procedures, protocols, and accident/incident databases.
  • Liaise with local medical service providers, hospitals, RFDS, and ambulance services.
  • Provide skills maintenance training to Emergency Response Team members.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing as required.
About You

This role would suit a motivated health professional looking for an opportunity to support and educate people in site health and safety. You will also have:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Immunisation Certificate, and HLTPAT005 Drugs of Abuse Testing.
  • Current and valid C-class manual Driver's Licence.
  • Previous experience working in emergency or in a remote area nursing role.
  • A working knowledge of Injury Management and Rehabilitation practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work autonomously to align with site medical guidelines.
  • Approved Audiometric Officers Certificate and the ability to conduct spirometry testing (desirable).
