We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Family Home Visitor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our multi-disciplinary team in Katherine, providing primary and clinical health care services to the Aboriginal community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide culturally safe home visits to women and their families, building and maintaining relationships based on trust, support, and growth.
- Practice with a focus on early intervention and prevention of physical and emotional risk, delivering content at home visits in a way that maintains alignment with client-centred principles.
- Acquire knowledge and skills to implement the program successfully, keeping up to date with information on a local, state, or national level that may impact delivery of content.
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing.
- At least two years previous clinical experience (Nurse or RAHP).
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Indigenous societies and culture, including issues affecting Indigenous people in contemporary Australian society.
- Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, First Aid Certificate, and NT Drivers Licence.
