About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HealthX. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working closely with the clinical care team to promote excellence in care practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, ensuring the dignity and independence of residents are maintained.
  • Engage in nursing practices that enhance the quality of life for residents, including the management of medications and coordination of daily care needs.
  • Liaise with doctors, allied health professionals, and family members to plan, implement, and evaluate individual resident care.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Qualified Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years Aged Care experience, with a strong understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge and experience with ACFI, with a strong understanding of safe medication administration.
  • Empathy and a commitment to treating others with dignity and respect.
