About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Redox. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and spearheading innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level support to resolve complex technical issues with efficiency and precision.
  • Software Integration: Analyse, design, implement, and manage new software integrations to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • System Upgrades: Plan and manage the lifecycle of system upgrades and new software implementations, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum improvement.
  • Network and System Management: Ensure the continuity and optimal performance of our Microsoft HyperV server environment, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Network Monitoring: Monitor the health of our network and all fixed and mobile devices, maintaining high standards of reliability and security.
  • Network Infrastructure: Manage the network infrastructure, including configuring DNS, routers, switches, and implementing firewall policies, with a preference for Fortigate firewalls.
  • Microsoft Services: Maintain Microsoft Exchange (M365), Active Directory, Group Policy, and DFS, ensuring they are secure and up-to-date.
  • IP Telephony: Support our IP telephony system, with a particular focus on troubleshooting VOIP issues.
About You

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration and support across the team.
  • IT Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Systems Administrator, demonstrating solid expertise and reliability.
  • Infrastructure Management: Extensive experience managing and maintaining core physical infrastructure, including HyperV Nodes, Virtual Machines, network switches, and routers.
  • Cloud Migration: Proven experience in conducting on-premises migrations to cloud technologies, such as Azure blob storage, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Microsoft Technologies: Demonstrated proficiency in executing project implementation work with Microsoft technologies, particularly Windows servers, Microsoft Teams, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, O365 Exchange, and managing Fortigate firewalls.
  • IP Telephony Experience: Experience troubleshooting SIP and ensuring the reliability of our IP telephony system.
