Job Title

A leading vehicle inspection organization seeks a skilled Heavy Vehicle Examiner to perform safety and compliance checks on heavy vehicles according to Department of Transport requirements.

This is a full-time position requiring relevant trade qualifications, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. Training will be provided to obtain Vehicle Examiner Certification.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough heavy vehicle inspections as per DOT guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit relevant documentation as required by the department.
  • Record all inspection data accurately in the VIS system.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • HV trade qualifications with a repairer's certificate for heavy vehicles.
  • Fundamental computer literacy skills.
  • Current WA driver's license (HR or HC).
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for diverse vehicle makes and models.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to obtain police clearance.
