Project Finance Professional

Job Description:
The Project Finance Professional is responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate analysis and reporting of financial and other data in relation to large-scale infrastructure projects. This involves working closely with multi-disciplined project support teams to understand key financial drivers and provide insights to inform decision-making.
On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will be performing transactional activities such as cyclical reporting and annual reporting, taking a functional look at financial performance across different areas of the project, comparing spending to budget, solving financial issues, accommodating stakeholder requests, and managing funds to ensure consistency of financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify financial risks and opportunities
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support business objectives
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need intermediate Office 365 skills, particularly in Excel, as well as intermediate skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools. Experience with Oracle in a project environment is highly regarded. A sound understanding of accounting and budgeting principles and standards as applied in the government sector is also essential.
You will be a strong communicator and team player, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
