We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Project Finance.

About the Role:

In this key position, you will play a critical role in originating project finance activities and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and management of project finance origination activities to new and existing clients, focusing on lending and bank products, as well as project advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with senior managers to arrange project finance transactions
  • Managing allocated project finance lending and advisory transactions
  • Coordinating credit matters, including credit papers, construction, modelling, negotiation of terms and conditions, finalisation of documentation, arrangement and finalisation of due diligence
  • Assisting in negotiation and documentation of terms and conditions of credit; security and all other documents related to the credit and services provided
  • Providing structuring, ratings, and other project advisory services
  • Ensuring new transactions comply with our credit and other policies
  • Maintaining positive relationships with project sponsors/borrowers/advisors/legal counsels/funds/bank customers and contributing to the growth of our business
  • Leading junior staff and managing internal stakeholder communication
Requirements:
  • 4 – 6 years' experience in relevant industry and project finance knowledge
  • Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential
  • Sector or customer knowledge and experience in energy sectors including LNG will be favourably considered
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project management, credit analysis and documentation
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
  • Previous experience in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship to a developing team
  • Proficiency in MS office, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint
