About the Role

We are seeking a Cert III and Diploma qualified educator to join our team at SDN Children's Services. As an educator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and thrive.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a small team of early childhood professionals to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of each child. You will be responsible for supporting children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development, while building strong relationships with families and promoting a sense of community within the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment that fosters open communication and professional growth
  • Monitor and evaluate children's progress, making adjustments to programs as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid qualification
  • Sound knowledge of child development, health, hygiene, and nutritional needs

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
