Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker Job Opportunity

Join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work as a caseworker in Southern NSW, building positive relationships with communities and working collaboratively to address complex challenges.

As a caseworker, you will be responsible for providing sensitive and respectful support to parents, family members, children or young people, developing safety plans, completing risk assessments, and managing cases involving high needs and high-risk clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build trust with individuals and families, and have a strong commitment to the principles of child protection and Aboriginal cultural awareness.

  • Work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people
  • Develop safety plans and complete risk assessments
  • Manage cases and situations including working with high needs and high-risk clients and their families

Successful applicants will receive comprehensive training and support, including a 17-week caseworker development program, and will have access to a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, generous leave entitlements, and opportunities for career development and growth.
