About This Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various residential projects throughout Queensland, providing a unique blend of challenge and professional development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong technical knowledge in structural engineering. They will be motivated, tenacious, passionate, driven, and hungry to pave a long-term successful career with a top industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structural engineering designs, calculations, repair methodologies, and assessments;
  • Lead and manage improvements in general housekeeping, organisation, and configuration;
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement of engineering knowledge, methods, and processes in line with company objectives;
  • Participate in the preparation of business development proposals, estimates, system designs, technical and performance specifications, workflow estimates, engineering design estimates, and written technical descriptions;
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other engineers on project progress and engineering concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering - Structural or Civil;
  • RPEQ would be advantageous;
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer working on local projects throughout Brisbane;
  • Clear and strong communication and presentation skills.
