Employment Type: Fixed TermClosing Date: 1 Sept 2025 11:59pmJob Title: Building Engineer ManagerJob Summary: The Building Engineer Manager ensures the InfraCo Fixed Network property portfolio supports customer requirements by applying building engineering skills in analysis, design, development, and deployment of building services, maintaining a safe environment.Key Responsibilities:Apply planning methodologies for the FY26 Building Degradation Program across InfraCo's Fixed Network Sites.Lead complex feasibility studies for InfraCo priority assets.Identify cost-effective engineering solutions adding value for customers and commercial opportunities.Manage scoping and budgeting, oversee projects from design to completion, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.Ensure compliance with workplace HSE obligations and mandatory training.Engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities.Potentially undertake higher duties.Qualifications and Experience:Essential:Technical expertise in Building Engineering Services such as AC Power, DC Power, Air-conditioning, Energy/Renewables, or Data Centre services, including interpretation of schematics and standards.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, planning, and stakeholder communication skills.Experience in capacity planning, project ownership, budgeting, and cost estimation for Design & Construct activities.Desirable:Degree-level tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related fields.Additional qualifications in property or building services and relevant experience.Skills in data analysis, modeling, and reporting.Additional Information:Join Telstra to be part of a diverse, inclusive community committed to safety and respect.
