Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and patient Disability Support Worker to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

  • Promote and develop independent living skills for participants.
  • Assist individuals with personal care needs.
  • Facilitate access to local communities and resources.
  • Perform meal preparation, domestic duties, and medication administration tasks as required.
  • Be flexible and available to fill shifts when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, family members, allied health services, and other support services.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current CPR and first aid certification.
  • Meet NDIS worker screening requirements or hold relevant certifications.
  • Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain).
  • Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Have relevant experience in support work.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, roadworthy vehicle, and full insurance coverage.

Working Conditions:

  • Available shifts include daytime, late/evening, and sleepovers.
  • Flexibility to cover multiple shifts is highly desired.
  • Shifts may vary in length from 3 to 8 hours or more.
