Drive Business Growth and Development

In this key role, you will lead a small team to drive business retention and development in the ANZ region. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to exceed sales targets and grow the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development plans for the portfolio in the defined territory (ANZ), ensuring collaborator alignment and effective execution.
  • Manage existing accounts and prospect new business opportunities to drive sales growth, leveraging your team and the wider selling and support organization.
  • Lead through example, establishing standard processes in account management and planning, and develop your team's proficiency in commercial, soft skills, and product understanding.
  • Partner with local sales, FAS, and FSE teams to upskill colleagues and coordinate a company approach with customers.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing technical consulting and collaborating with wider support teams to develop solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed customer records and opportunities are maintained, and report regularly on orders and sales relative to the plan, providing insights and actions.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree or PhD in Life Sciences, with a strong background in molecular biology and genetics.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience and relationship management, with a strong understanding of market, products, and workflows for qPCR, dPCR, and microarray.
  • Strategic and tactical market development skills, with a results-oriented approach and strong commercial competence.
  • Planning and Organising skills, with the ability to establish a clear course of action to prioritize and accomplish goals and objectives effectively.
  • Team Work skills, with a participative and collaborative management style, enabling effective work across functional groups.
