As a leading enterprise, we are seeking an Application Security Specialist to join our Sydney Cyber security team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of application security and devsecops in a dynamic digital landscape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices into engineering teams, integrating and maintaining application security scanning tools across CI/CD pipelines, automating security testing and vulnerability management within DevOps workflows, conducting manual and automated security code reviews, and supporting cloud security uplift across multi-cloud environments.

To excel in this role, you will need proven experience in application security or secure software development, hands-on skills with SAST/DAST tools and integrating them into DevOps pipelines, proficiency with code vulnerability tools and classifying vulnerabilities, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles across the OSI stack and cloud-based environments.

This is a mid-senior level full-time position in the information technology sector, offering a great opportunity to get involved in a modern enterprise environment with large-scale digital platforms.
