Job Description

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project managers in delivering various projects. You will be responsible for taking a hands-on approach to manage current and new projects, prepare documents and reports, undertake safety assessments, and provide technical design input across all industries.

  • Assist project managers in executing current projects
  • Manage a team to effectively deliver solutions
  • Facilitate and manage current and new projects
  • Undertake safety assessments and complete necessary reporting

Additionally, you will assist in the tendering process of projects, including site inspections, work procedures, and documentation. Your ability to communicate with stakeholders is essential in providing scheduled forecast and job status reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for project delivery
  • Manage project resources and budgets
  • Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) or related field
  • Previous experience or knowledge in a similar role or within the agriculture sector is beneficial but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Project as a minimum)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD LT or similar software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
