This role is responsible for delivering a high standard of food preparation and presentation consistent with food safety principles. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide an effective and efficient service, ensuring client satisfaction and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in providing a safe and healthy environment for clients by following established protocols and guidelines related to food handling and preparation.
- Problem solve, use initiative, work with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Understand and commit to client/patient and facility confidentiality, privacy, and adherence to the code of conduct, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Ensure knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control, food safety, workplace health and safety, total quality management, EEO, and anti-discrimination practices to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
- Appropriate experience related to food service, including meal planning, preparation, and presentation.
- Ability to problem solve, use initiative, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Understanding and commitment to client/patient and facility confidentiality, privacy, and adherence to the code of conduct, demonstrating a strong sense of professionalism and integrity.
