">Electrical Technician - Mobile Plant Equipment

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with experience in working on mobile plant equipment in open cut mining.

  • Carry out all electrical repairs and undertake routine PM and upgrade improvements on 12/24-volt systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with industry guidelines and cost targets.
  • Diagnose faults in electrical systems and collaborate with other trades to achieve common goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to meet company objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
  • Proven diagnostic and trouble shooting ability with respect to heavy earth moving equipment electrical and wiring systems.
  • Nationally recognised Air Conditioning licence and High-Risk Licence (mandatory).
  • Relevant nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate.
  • A current Australian Drivers licence and full working rights within Australia.

Applicants must undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
