About the Role

Mother Kate's Early Learning Centre is seeking a permanent part-time Assistant Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll support daily operations, mentor staff, and contribute to delivering high-quality learning environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Centre Director on operational matters and ensuring compliance
  • Mentoring educators to enhance curriculum delivery and overall performance
  • Fostering strong relationships with families and the local community through effective communication and outreach
  • Providing hands-on support across the service to drive continuous improvement
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • A Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • A valid Blue Card/Working with Children Check
  • Experience as a Senior Educator, Educational Leader, or Assistant Director in early childhood education

We value additional skills such as:

  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
  • An understanding of the National Quality Framework and its implementation
  • The ability to manage rosters or administrative tasks efficiently

You should be calm under pressure, supportive of your colleagues, and passionate about creating an inclusive environment that promotes children's growth and well-being.
