About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Services Assistant to join our dynamic team at Maroondah Hospital. As a Food Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients and staff
  • Ensure a clean and safe food service environment
  • Collaborate with the food services team to achieve high-quality service standards
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Requirements
  • Basic Food Safety Level 1 HLTFSE001
  • Good understanding of allergen management and texture modified foods
  • Experience working in a similar environment (desirable)
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high-quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
