A 12-week internship is available in the field of manufacturing and quality assurance engineering. This placement will provide an engineering graduate or student with valuable experience in a small-mid-size manufacturing firm.

The internship involves revising and implementing procedures as part of the manufacturing process to ensure quality, speed, and cost.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting production systems and products for work-on-time and quality of parts
  • Conducting audits and creating reports to optimize production processes
  • Investigating non-conformance in production, identifying root causes and initiating preventive and corrective actions
  • Measuring parts for compliance and ensuring they meet specifications
  • Liaising with suppliers, engineers, management, and clients to ensure smooth production processes
  • Providing suggestions to improve processes and standardize methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
