About the Opportunity

You'll play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality power distribution networks across Queensland, with a focus on subdivisions in the Energex region.

  • Create detailed designs that meet Energex standards for underground and overhead networks.
  • Develop concept layouts and masterplans for residential and commercial developments.
  • Collaborate with councils, Energex, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Design street lighting that meets Rate 2 and Council Rate 3 requirements.
  • E nsure compliance with technical, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the growth of our design capability and bring innovative ideas to our projects.
Key Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in electrical design or project work (Energex experience beneficial)
  • A strong understanding of power distribution networks and standards in Queensland
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or lighting software (a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and teammates
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
