Metal Assemblers Required

Ongoing work is available for Metal Assemblers in Chinderah, a location near the QLD/NSW border. This position offers an immediate start.

A high-performing steel framing company seeks skilled Metal Assemblers to focus on the production of metal frames and trusses.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Assemble products to a high standard
  • Operate power tools for drilling and bolting
  • Utilize hand tools
  • Maintain adherence to WHS and ensure safe working practices at all times

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Availability Monday - Friday; 0600 - 1406 hours daily, with potential opportunities for Saturday work and overtime
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as public transport is limited in the area
  • Double Covid-19 vaccination status and proof thereof (client policy)
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic

The workplace requires personal protective equipment such as a cotton drill long sleeve hi-vis shirt, cotton drill long pants, and steel cap boots. All other necessary PPE will be provided by the client. You must possess valid working rights within Australia to be considered for this role.
