Assembly Technician Role Summary

We are currently looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electronics assembly work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical and electronics assembly work
    - Ensure high-quality production output by following established processes and procedures.
  • Quality control, testing and reporting
    - Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Suggest improvements to the product or methods wherever possible
    - Identify areas of improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Reading & Interpreting technical manufacturing drawings and instructions
    - Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
  • Manual handling
    - Lift and move heavy objects as part of the job requirements.

Requirements:

  • Be able to start ASAP
    - Available to start work immediately.
  • Be physically fit
    - Able to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    - Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Work autonomously as required
    - Take initiative to complete tasks without direct supervision.
  • Be able to obtain a clear Police Check
    - Have a clean police record.
  • Customer Service
    - Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Job Details:

Experience:

  • Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
    - Previous experience in manual handling is preferred.
  • Assembly: 1 year (preferred)
    - Previous experience in assembly work is preferred.

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred)
    - Australian citizenship or residency preferred.
