We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals in detention.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge to enhance health outcomes for detainees. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and sustainable healthcare solutions to detainees.
- Ensure timely access to healthcare services, including general medical practice, nursing, drug and alcohol support, and allied health services.
- Deliver care that respects and acknowledges the dignity, culture, values, beliefs, and rights of detainees.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Relevant post-graduate qualification (desirable).
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changes and provide responsive services to meet the needs of detainees.
- Proficient in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and database management).
