About Our Role

\

We are currently seeking a Childcare Educator to join our team at Ferny Grove State School.

\

This is a permanent part-time role working 12.5 hours per week, with the possibility of extra hours during school holidays.

\

You will be working as part of a team of educators and coordinators to deliver before and after school care services for children aged 5-12 years.

\

Your key responsibilities will include:

\

  • Facilitating engaging child-centered programs that promote STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft activities.\
  • Fostering healthy relationships with children, parents, the school and community.\
  • Working collaboratively with a team of skilled educators onsite.\
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all children.\\

About You

We are looking for an individual who:

  • \
  • Has a passion for working with children and supporting their development.\
  • Is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.\
  • Can work effectively in a team environment.\
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and state check for working with children.\
  • Have Australian work rights.\\
