Job Opportunity: Maintenance Planner - Optimisation

We are seeking a proactive maintenance planner to lead maintenance scheduling and support equipment reliability across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a rolling 3-week short-term maintenance plan.
  • Schedule preventative, statutory, and defect-related maintenance tasks.
  • Align planning with labour capacity, tooling, and part availability.
  • Coordinate breakdown responses and adjust plans to minimise downtime.
  • Lead weekly and daily maintenance planning meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor completion of plans using reports.
  • Closed out work orders in CMMS and ensure data accuracy.

About the Role:

  • Trade qualification (preferably in HME); planning/management degree is an advantage. Alternatively, experience in this field of work.
  • Experience with CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment in a mining environment.
  • Strong planning and scheduling background using CMMS tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of operations and equipment reliability drivers.
