We are seeking an experienced Senior Educator to lead our team of dedicated Educators at Goodstart Caloundra Centre. Our centre is conveniently located close to shopping centres, schools, and public transport, making it an ideal place for families to learn and grow.

Estimated Salary: AU$55,000 - AU$65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart Caloundra Centre, you will be responsible for leading your own room, developing and implementing educational programs that promote learning and development in children. You will work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote learning and development in children
  • Lead a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational experiences
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) and strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. You must also have a current QLD Working with Children Check.
