About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ professional to play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental protection, and quality are maintained across our Zero-Emission Bus projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive HSEQ management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify mitigation measures, and provide guidance and support to project teams in implementing risk controls and safety measures.
  • Investigate project incidents, accidents, and hazards/near misses to determine causes and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Deliver HSEQ training programs for project personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, including site inductions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements throughout the project lifecycle and implement measures to minimize project environmental impacts.
  • Establish quality assurance and control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet specified requirements and standards.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to verify the quality of workmanship and materials and facilitate the resolution of quality and non-conformance issues.

About You

  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and best practices, as well as the ability to implement effective HSEQ management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Project management expertise in the construction, engineering, or transportation industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field.
