Senior SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our team at NCS Australia Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support and Maintenance: Provide expert technical support and maintenance for SAP Basis components, including operating systems, databases, and application servers.
- System Installations and Upgrades: Perform system installations, upgrades, and patches, following best practices and adhering to change management procedures.
- System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
- Business Requirements Translation: Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to maintain expertise.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with a strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- S/4HANA Experience: You must have had experience of working in S/4HANA environments to be considered.
- SAP Basis Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis components, including operating systems (Linux, Windows), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA), and application servers (AS ABAP, AS Java).
- Upgrade and Support Projects: Have worked on a number of upgrade and support projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong stakeholder engagement skills of dealing with high-level stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP Certifications: SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Basis) are preferred.
