About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic team at NCS Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical support and maintenance for SAP Basis components, including operating systems, databases, and application servers.
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, and patches, following best practices and adhering to change management procedures.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to maintain expertise.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with a strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • Experience working in S/4 HANA environments is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis components, including operating systems (Linux, Windows), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA), and application servers (AS ABAP, AS Java).
  • Experience working on upgrade and support projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills dealing with high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Basis) are preferred.
