Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Climbing Arborist to join our team in Melbourne. As a Climbing Arborist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient trimming or dismantling of trees through safe climbing techniques and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tree climbing in an ESI environment
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish vegetation drop zones
  • Operate an Elevated Work Platform and plant and chainsaw equipment
  • Clear vegetation debris from worksites
  • Rotate throughout the day between duties such as tree climbing, clearing vegetation, and operating equipment

Requirements

  • A current driver's license
  • An Elevated Work Platform License
  • Chainsaw Operators Certificates Level 1 & 2
  • Cert III in Arboriculture
  • The ability to work safely and flexibly, including living away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time

Preferred Qualifications

  • A White card
  • First aid/CPR
  • MR/HR Truck Licence
