Main Responsibilities:- Enhance asset reliability and performance through maintenance best practices, systems, and computerized management tools.
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule weekly preventative maintenance activities, monthly shutdowns, and project work across the plant using exceptional organizational skills.
- Supervise, delegate, and coordinate responsibilities to Maintenance contractors, ensuring they carry out works safely.
- Effectively communicate with production personnel daily for the safe and efficient maintenance of the mill and all associated equipment.
- A qualification in engineering or an accomplished trade and/or planning background.
- Pulp & Paper industry experience is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to be part of an on-call roster.
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP or other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
