Senior System Administrator

This role is focused on managing, maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systems. The successful candidate will work closely with the technology team to ensure system performance and availability.

- Collaborate with the technology team to ensure system performance and availability.
- Deploy software updates and patches in line with organisational protocols.
- Monitor system security and implement necessary safeguards.
- Support the development and improvement of automation scripts and tools.
- Participate in resolving technical issues and responding to user queries.
- Document processes, configurations and solutions for future reference.
- Assist in the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems with a solid understanding of system administration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or similar.
- Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a technology team environment.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry advancements.
