Water Cart Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Cart Operator to join our team. As a Water Cart Operator, you will be responsible for operating water carts across various civil construction sites.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating water carts and performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Assisting with general labouring duties as required on-site
  • Working independently while contributing to a strong team environment
  • Maintaining effective communication with supervisors and teammates

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is essential. A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality is also expected.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current White Card
  • A valid Statement of Attainment (SOA) and/or Verification of Competency (VOC) for Water Cart operation
  • Proven experience operating water carts, ideally 2+ years on civil sites
  • Ability to work unsupervised and collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
